About Hydroponics

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions without the use of soil.

The two big advantages of using hydroponics are a much higher crop yield and that hydroponics can be used in places where ordinary agriculture or gardening is impossible.

Therefore not only is it a profitable to do so but also allows for people living in the flats and in cities where there are no gardens to grow vegetables and fruit.

This allows them to grow using window-boxes or on roof gardens. By using hydroponics people that could not normally grow their own vegetables can do so.
